Fall is for More Than Just Pumpkin Spice Lattes

As this year continues to fly by we have now reached many people’s favorite time of pumpkin patch.jpgyear…fall! What’s not to love about fall, right? Perfect jeans and long sleeve weather, fires at night, pumpkins, Halloween, pumpkin spice lattes…have you heard of those coffee drinks? It also comes with a lot of festive activities! So let’s explore some of the Fall activities that Northeast Ohio has to offer.

If you’re into haunted houses you can find many ranging from haunted school houses to haunted hay rides. But if you’re looking to get your thrills on some roller coasters before getting your scares at a haunted house then check out HalloWeekends at Cedar Point!

Are you a wine lover and looking for a maze with a twist? Check out Wine Your Way Out. This is offered at multiple locations in Northeast Ohio including Mapleside Farms in Brunswick and McPeek’s Mighty Maze in Coshocton.

Check out Akron Zoo or Cleveland Zoo for their Boo at the Zoo events! Let the kids get into their Halloween costumes and trick or treat around the zoo while checking out the animals enjoying their cooler weather! Or for the adults, check out Brew at the Zoo.

If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing time checking out the beautiful fall colors of the trees then take a train ride with the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad on their Fall Flyer Train and sit back and enjoy the scenery of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Pumpkin patches are a must for the fall season and there are many to choose from. Most pumpkin patches will have many fall activities including getting your pumpkins, hay rides, corn mazes, etc.

Do you love apples? Then go to an orchard and pick some apples. Not only will you get to smell and taste them but maybe you’ll be able to pick up some apple cider while you’re there. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by trees so you can enjoy the fall scenery.
